Sellers can easily build their own Auction event from existing Store Items and Draft Auctions.
To create your own auction event, head to the Members Area > Selling > Seller Tools > Auction Events and click on the orange "Create a New Auction Event” button. On the next page, enter the Event's name and description. You will need to add a logo as well.
An auction event ends on a specific day and lasts for a specific length of time (ie: 2 hours), and so, you will need to set your Event's Start and Closing Date and Time, duration, and starting price for items you want to add to the auction.
Once the event has been created, you can select a minimum of 50 listings from any "Open" Store Items or Auction "Drafts" to be included within your Event from the Member's Area > Listings section.
After selecting your auction items, scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit "Auction".
Next, provide the event specifics by answering the fields in the pop-up window. If you're syncing from eBay, remember to check the box next to 'Close External Syncs' to close any linked listings on eBay, otherwise, they will only close after the first bid. Click the "Send to Auction" button after filling in all necessary fields. This will allow you to send Store Items to Auction. Any store items sent to auction that does not sell in the Event will be re-opened and reinstated as store items after the Event closes.
Once you have completed your selection, click on the "Done" button below, or click on the "View All" button to review/update your current selection.
You can view the event you created from the Member's Area > Selling > Seller Tools > Auction events and select 'View Event' under Options.
Events are featured within the Event Directory, but will only become viewable to other members after the Start Date & Time.
It is important to note that all auction listings are subject to Standard auction listing fees. Items put to auction have a minimum listing fee of 3¢ per listing.
