On Hip, we require that all sellers set up the shipping costs that they want to receive from buyers, through the shipping options that we provide (see below). This ensures a smooth and seamless checkout experience for our buyers.


As a result, unfortunately, we are unable to issue any partial final value fee refunds if a seller issues a refund to a buyer for shipping fees, in part, or in whole. Please note that similarly, PayPal will not refund any fees either.

Relevant Terms Regarding Shipping Charges

  • Shipping and Handling charges, including for additional items, are required to be specified using the options we provide.
  • Shipping and Handling charges must be realistic and are not allowed to be excessive.
  • It is not permissible to instruct buyers that they must wait for a custom invoice before paying for a purchase.
  • It is not permissible to instruct buyers that they must meet any minimum or maximum purchase requirements.
